SIMCHAT TORAH CELEBRATIONS

 

Join us for a very joyous celebration, as we conclude our annual reading of the Five Books of Moses. 

When: Thursday night, October 4th, DINNER 6:00 PM, Hakafot 7:30 PM

ROUND II: Friday Morning, October 5th, 12:30 PM (Shachrit 10:30 AM; Hakafot and Torah Reading 11:30 AM)

Cost: None. Sponsorship available.

What: Good food, good drink, and happy dancing.

The 8th Day band is made up of six brothers, three of which are chassidic rabbis (including Rabbi Yossi Marcus of Chabad of S. Mateo), one advertising exec, one hard rock bass player and one yeshiva student. The band performs original Chassidic rock as well as traditional Jewish melodies from Shlomo Carlebach to Safam and others. The band appeals to people of all ages, cultures and musical inclinations. The brothers create a unique onstage presence and energy that is at the same time entertaining, compelling, and heartwarming.
