BurlingameMenorah Lighting
When: Tuesday Dec 23, 6:00-7:30 pm. FREE
Bring your canned foods! Introducing the “Yes We Can” Menorah, a menorah made of canned foods, donated by the community and which will be distributed to the poor after the Menorah is dismantled.
At Washington Park: By popular demand, the menorah celebration will move about a hundred feet east to Washington Park, just across the street from the train station.
Kids will love the amazing Jeremy Shaffer! Fireshow, balloon making, juggling, origami, and more…
Adults will enjoy Milk ‘n Honey, starring East Bay’s Roman Okh, an old world musician, who can bounce from Klezmer, to Blues, to Maoz Tzur. He will be joined by Doron and Gil (confirmed b’ezrat Hashem) Shapira live in concert!
This is a heartwarming event, which has become a community traditon.
