Chabad of S. Mateo, like most Chabad centers around the globe, is not funded by Lubavitch Headquarters in Brooklyn, nor do the shluchim receive a salary from headquarters. It is sustained solely through the efforts of the local shluchim and the generosity of local and visiting donors. When traveling, consider a donation to the Chabad center you encounter.
