Play against a friend or against the chessmaster while he competes simultaneously with up to 15 other players. Elliott will also share some useful and entertaining strategies and tactics, as well as stories from his more than half a century involved with the game. Use one of our chess sets or bring along your own.

Mr. Winslow, a former California champion and Assistant Editor of the national chess magazine Chess Life, has been teaching chess in the San Francisco school system for the last dozen years, as well as playing in tournaments at the Mechanics' Chess Club and Berkeley Chess School, and entering and annotating games from those events, published in their newsletters.
